I am an advocate of great design and accessibility in everything to do with the web and believe that great web sites need simplicity at their core in both design and function. Oh and a little in ♥ with Apple and Google.

Google in your living room
Well it has finally happened, Google has announce Google TV. It is early days and very little is known about it at the moment. But the move is VERY significant as Google is now not just about advertising to you on the 'web' but also in the traditional above the line advertising space.
So how will this effect advertisers? Only time will tell, but I have been watching Google's work on cable TV and Radio closely, and they are a lot more prepared for this than most people think.
So will Google get traditional advertising dollars? Hell yes! For to long money has been thrown at Ad agency's with little or no real knowledge of their effectiveness, that is all about to change as TV meets real time personal (read anonymous) detailed web analytics.

Lets also not forget about that little web site that has most, if not all, of anything that is worth watching available already.
